Justin Bieber reportedly forced a private plane to wait eight hours for his pet monkey.

The 'Baby' singer upset a private jet company by delaying his flight from Miami, Florida while his minders searched for his new pet primate, according to TMZ.

Sources told the US gossip website that Bieber rented the private plane to take him from Miami to Burbank, California. The jet was scheduled to take-off at 11am (ET) but the singer called to say he was running late. He finally showed up at the airport at 3pm, but delayed the flight further as he attempted to locate his monkey.

Another four hours passed before Bieber reportedly chartered a helicopter to pick up the monkey from West Palm Beach. However, the singer was eventually told that the flight could not be delayed further as the pilot's duty time was running out. The plane was finally airborne eight hours after the scheduled departure, but it is not known if the monkey made it on board.

Justin Bieber's previous pet monkey recently became property of a German zoo. Bieber is reported to have abandoned his pet after it was seized by customs officials in Munich, Germany in March (2013). Mally the monkey was kept in quarantine by customs on the German border after the teen pop star attempted to get the animal into the country without the correct legal documentation.

Authorities in Germany filled legal documents last month (May) to transfer the ownership of Mally over to a German zoo, after Bieber failed to meet the deadline to claim ownership of his pet monkey

And while at first glance it looked like the 18-year-old Baby star had posted work done on his slender forearm, he posted another image that showed it was actually inked onto his left calf, though this would have been obvious to fanatical fans of the warbler.
And it certainly seemed to have impressed his fans, with one saying, 'OMG! Soooo cooool!' and another adding, 'once a Beliber, always a Belieber.'

It is certainly another exciting addition to the music star's ever growing collection of body art.
Justin had a spellbound Ellen DeGeneres hooting with delight when he showed her the owl he had tattooed on his left forearm earlier this month.
And he also has a crown on the left side of his manly chest.
It is certainly apt, as his army of fans believe he is the heir apparent to Michael Jackson's title of the prince of pop.

The teenager debuted a tattoo on his right arm - the Japanese Kanji symbol for music- in July.

He also has the word Believe inked on his left arm, and in March had a praying hand inking etched onto his leg, which is thought to represent the power of prayer and the Almighty.
Justin underwent his first inking of a bird on his hip at the tender age of 16, and followed it with the Hebrew word for Jesus on his ribcage when he and his dad opted to get matching tattoos during a trip to Israel.
Continuing with his collection of religious tattoos, the Canadian singer later had an image of Jesus etched onto his left leg.
